for the 3rd International Film Festival on Water
The MAIN SCREEN from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m organized shows for high school students from schools who participated in the festival spread over five days.
The MAIN SCREEN from 1.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m organized screenings for College students and the Public.
At the end of each session of screenings, eminent personalities from Bangalore and Film Directors interacted with the audience.
The AQUASCOPE screenings from 9.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m was open to the Public.
The aquascope films screened was of shorter and more artistic take on water in myriad forms.

Institute of Social Sciences organized a conference on gender, caste and water governance on 17th Septemeber 2008.
Simultaneous workshops were held by various organizations involved in water issues on the following topics.
Water and Sanitation: The Utopia of an Odorless City
Rivers and Streams: The Future of the Waters
Water access and Equity: Gender, Caste, Floods, Draught, Water diversion etc.
Water Voices: Grass root level water activists from different parts of India will be sharing their experiences in a seperate gathering twice daily.
A Painting Exhibition on the theme of "Water and Life" was on display through out the length of the festival.
A Photo Exhibition on the theme of "Rivers and Streams" was present during the festival.
An Art Installation by "Syamala Nandesh" who has been working with water motifs was available during the festival.
Throughout the day, river songs from different languages were played at the venue lobby.
Spaces were provided to institutions to exhibit thier publications, posters, arts and crafts that added to the celebrative atmosphere.
