The "3rd Voices from the Waters 2008" will be inaugrated by Director Shekhar Kapur on the 13th of September 2008, along with other dignitaries.

The Festival spread across six days, with the screening of the films, hosting Aquascopes, Conferences & Workshops, River songs, Exhibitions and Display Kiosks.
